On the occasion of the bloody attack that happened a few days ago in Nashville, USA, many people used social media to express their sadness, anger and dissatisfaction. Singer Dee Snider is active on Twitter and clearly opposed to the political beliefs of the right and especially those who use the “anthem of the youth” by the band Twisted Sisters for reasons that are contrary to Snider’s beliefs.
This is not the first time that Snider has opposed the use of guns or firearms in any situation outside of combat.
Recently, a frustrated fan tweeted: “Dee, if we organize and demand a ban on assault weapons, can we use your anthem?” Snyder responded, “I’m a gun owner… who said, HELL YES YOU CAN USE ‘WE WON’T TAKE IT’ AS YOUR ANTHEM!”
