ENEMY OF REALITY – “Where Truth May Lie” album review

Enemy of Reality is a band with amazing musicians. This is proven by what each of them have done personally and as a whole in the band.

As a band they have been active since 2013 and their new album “Where Truth May Lie” is their third. Listening to it, the first thing that comes to my mind is that they have nothing to envy from the biggest bands of the genre, symphonic metal. Compositions, guitars, vocals, rhythms, production, artwork, all in the best possible way.

The subject matter of the lyrics is one of my favourites, with darkness, the divine, the human and the otherworldly dominating.

The vocals of Iliana Tsakiraki are incredible, the guitars of Steelianos Amoiridis are amazing and the rhythm from the drums and bass is what it takes to tie everything together. Also the secondary instruments placed in the compositions as they should be.

All pieces are of high quality. From these I will single out “Downfall” and “Serenade of Death”.
Angelos Vafeiadis on the production, which highlights the talents of the album in the best way.

We are proud of “Where Truth May Lie” because Enemy of Reality are our children. They should be very proud themselves because they were vindicated for their efforts, patience, love for music.
